“Sarah ①“ A Student from Nepal

 

Sarah is an exchange student from Nepal, currently studying religious studies at a university in Tokyo. Although she is a Buddhist, she has developed an interest in Japanese Buddhism and enjoys visiting temples across Japan during her holidays.

One day, she heard about this lake from a regular customer at the bar where she works part-time and became intrigued. She reached out to us and, as it turned out, she was as beautiful as a model.

Personally, Nepali women are closest to my ideal type. They have deep-set features and light brown skin, but to be honest, it's not something I can rationalize. After analyzing my preferences for women, I concluded that Nepali women are my favorite.

My girlfriend during my study abroad was a girl from Singapore with Malaysian heritage. While I was naturally drawn to her because her father was Japanese and we got along well personality-wise, I believe it was also her appearance—her light brown skin and deep-set features—that attracted me.

So, this time, I was thrilled to guide a young Nepali beauty, who embodies my ideal type, to the "Sacred Lake."

When I met her, she was even more beautiful than I imagined. She generously revealed her stunning body, bathing in the lake and performing a ritual dance.

I am merely a guide for the "Sacred Lake," but this was a true perk of the job.

The "Sacred Lake" has a small cave at its far end, and deep within that cave lies another small lake. This inner lake has a tiny shrine dedicated to a goddess, and the area around it is off-limits.

Visitors enter the lake and approach as close as possible to the shrine, where they offer dances, tributes, songs, and flowers.

According to Sarah, this ritual is reminiscent of Buddhist ceremonies, where devout Buddhists meditate to envision a goddess and offer their most precious possessions to her.

Since the ritual at our "Sacred Lake" closely resembled the Buddhist ceremonies from her homeland, she was very excited.

She performed a traditional dance from her homeland and chanted the mantra that Buddhists recite to honor the goddess Sarasvati.

It seems that her name, Sarah, is derived from the goddess Sarasvati.

Thus, her "Sacred Lake" ceremony came to an end, but she understood the ritual far better than I, the guide, did, and I learned a lot from her.

She was so captivating that I was reluctant to part with her, but we had to say our goodbyes at a station along the way.

For me, meeting her was truly like encountering the goddess of the lake.

I'll conclude this article by sharing the mantra I learned from her to honor the goddess Sarasvati.
